Educator: Ms. Rivas

JAKY is seeking a volunteer to help facilitate a program that involves weekly visits over a duration of five weeks. Each session will last approximately 30 minutes, with the educator requesting visits to begin at 3:20 PM. She is flexible regarding the specific day of the week. All necessary materials for the learning experience and a detailed facilitator's guide will be provided in a kit. The JA program manager will offer training and support throughout the entire process. The teacher will stay in the classroom to assist you. Some preparation is required before each session.

JA Our Families
JA Our FamiliesJA Our Families® explains how family members' jobs and businesses contribute to the well-being of the family and of the community. The learning experience introduces the concept of needs and wants and explores the ways families plan for and acquire goods and services. Students analyze their own skills to determine ways they can support their families. (Grade 1) The learning experience includes five 30-minute sessions, with additional extended learning activities and optional digital assets offered throughout.
