Online resources for Kentuckiana Teachers and Parents

Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana is providing free online resources to teachers and parents. We are doing this so our kids can spend more time planning for and dreaming about tomorrow, and less time worrying about today. We are committed to doing this until we can all be certain again.

Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana is thrilled to announce a new collaboration with the University of Louisville and UofL Health, aimed at enhancing students' understanding of health care, financial literacy, and career pathways in the health care industry. This partnership will be an integral addition to the JA Finance Park program, providing students with valuable insights into health care's essential role in financial planning and community wellbeing, as well as the educational and career path from the University of Louisville to a fulfilling career at UofL Health.

JA Inspire to Hire Connects 5,000 Youth and Young Adults with Career Opportunities and Local Businesses at Hands-On Career Exploration Event

JA Inspire to Hire united over 5,000 high school students and young adults with more than 50 local businesses across Kentuckiana for a dynamic, hands-on career exploration event. Held on January 30-31 at the Kentucky Exposition Center’s North Wing, the program offered participants a unique opportunity to experience a day in the life of various professionals, learn the steps to pursue their dream jobs, and understand the skills and education required for each career path. JA President Jennifer Helgeson and JA Vice Chair Christopher Manzo highlighted the event’s focus on addressing urgent regional workforce needs by connecting emerging talent with local employers and valuable mentors.
