All Trinity freshman complete JA Personal Success- a work readiness program as part of their freshman seminar. The program is 5 45-minute sessions. Scheduling is flexible, as long as it is completed before the end of term in December, and can be arranged directly with the educator upon commitment to teach the program. Class meets from 9:20-10:35

Looking for volunteers to cover 3 sessions with 2 business communication classes at Iroquois HS. Curriculum and materials are provided by JA. The 3 sessions are as follows: 1.Cell Phones in the Workplace- This session covers communication methods to ensure workplace success, focusing on using cell phones in the workplace. 2. Workplace Communication- This session covers communication methods in the workplace. Activities focus on appropriate tone and topics for the workplace and communication strategies for collaborating effectively. 3. Workplace Writing- This session covers the basics of professional writing. Included are activities that allow students to practice writing concisely, clearly, and correctly, with appropriate workplace style. Class 1 will be from 8:40-10:10 Class 2 is scheduled 11:50-1:45 Dates are somewhat flexible in September

This program is 3 45-minute sessions focused on work readiness and soft skills and teaches topics like eye contact, handshakes, appropriate cell phone use during the job search and as an employee, and interview preparation. There are 4 classes that need coverage. Ideally, one volunteer will cover all 3 sessions for each class. It could also be covered by a team, with one person covering one session only. We need volunteers to help teach Personal Finance to over 500 freshman at Eastern High School. The program is 5 sessions, with sessions being held once a month. There are 3 Teachers- 6 class periods each. Teachers would like to schedule the first session to take place in September or October. In the JA Rapid Business Planning module, students learn how to put their product or service idea into action by creating a concise yet effective one-page business plan. This iterative approach to business planning enables students to develop, test, and validate their plan with customers while filling an unmet market need. Program is 6 30-45 minute sessions. Wednesdays preferred, but teacher is open to any day besides Thursday.
