This program is 3 45-minute sessions focused on work readiness and soft skills and teaches topics like eye contact, handshakes, appropriate cell phone use during the job search and as an employee, and interview preparation. There are 2 classes that need coverage. Ideally, one volunteer will cover all 3 sessions for each class. It could also be covered by a team, with one person covering one session only. The class periods are below: Class 1: 8:40-10:10 Class 2: 11:50-1:45 (JA portion would be about half of the class period)

JA It's My Job (Soft Skills)JA It's My Job (Soft Skills) will help students understand the value of professional communication and soft skills, making them more employable to future employers across multiple career clusters. (Grades 6-12) The program includes six 45-minute sessions, with additional extended learning activities and optional digital assets offered throughout.
