Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana Impacts Over 4,000 Floyd County Students Thanks to Caesars Foundation Investment

Louisville, KY — Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana (JA) proudly announces that it served 4,062 students in Floyd County during the past academic year, delivering impactful financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship education.

A generous investment from the Caesars Foundation of Floyd County made it possible for 875 students from nine local schools to participate in a wide range of JA learning experiences with eight dynamic programs from elementary through high school.

In addition to student participation, the Caesars Foundation’s support enabled 60 volunteers to contribute their time and expertise across these programs, enriching the learning experience and connecting classroom concepts to real-world applications.

“The material covers such important subjects with our 5th graders, we are able to use it throughout many lessons,” said J. McKim, a 5th grade educator at Highland Hills Middle School.

Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana remains committed to empowering young people to own their economic success and thanks the Caesars Foundation of Floyd County for its continued partnership in building brighter futures for Floyd County students.

“We are deeply grateful to the Caesars Foundation of Floyd County for their continued support of Junior Achievement’s mission. Their investment allows us to expand our reach and impact in Floyd County, empowering more students with the critical skills of financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. Together, we are helping build a brighter future for our youth.” Jennifer Helgeson, President, Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana
