In today’s world, financial literacy and digital responsibility go hand in hand.  Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana with AT&T will offer programs that empower students to make smart financial choices and stay safe and responsible in the digital space.

Building Financial Confidence Through Finance Park

Through AT&T’s support, thousands of students across Kentuckiana have participated in experiences that combine real-world financial decision-making with essential digital citizenship skills. At Finance Park, AT&T’s Digital Citizenship Station gives students the chance to manage personal finances in realistic scenarios while learning how to protect themselves online. This year alone, more than 8,500 middle and high school students engaged in this hands-on learning lab, and 83% reported gaining new money management strategies.

Extending Learning Beyond the Classroom

AT&T helps extend financial education beyond the classroom with lessons on budgeting, saving, and secure online banking. Students learn how to recognize scams, safeguard their financial data, and make smart choices in a digital economy. These skills are critical for young people—especially in a world where financial transactions increasingly happen online.

Focused Digital Citizenship Instruction

AT&T also supports a standalone digital citizenship program that dives deeper into topics like cyber safety, managing online relationships, and even video call etiquette. The program reaches a diverse group of students: most are between 11 and 18 years old.  For these students, the impact on life is changing. After completing the program, 88% said they learned new ways to stay safe online; 91% felt more confident about spotting misinformation, and 93% reported they now use the internet more responsibly.

Thanks to AT&T, Junior Achievement is helping close the digital divide and equip young people with the tools they need to thrive—both online and offline. Together, we’re building a future where every student has the confidence and knowledge to succeed in a connected world.
