Caesars Foundation of Floyd County Awards Grant to Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana to Empower Local Youth

Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded an $15,000 grant from the Caesars Foundation of Floyd County to support youth in Floyd County. This generous grant has been instrumental in enabling us to expand and enhance our in-classroom programs, where dedicated volunteers collaborate with educators to bring essential financial literacy, work-readiness, and entrepreneurship education to life.

Over the year with this grant, we have not only maintained but exceeded the number of students served in Floyd County. The ongoing commitment from the Caesars Foundation of Floyd County has been pivotal in helping us meet the growing demand for our programs, which are designed to equip students with the skills they need to succeed in today’s complex economic and workforce environment. As partners, they are helping to connect the dots between school and the real world through learning to budget, be prepared for a job, and learn about what makes a community run.

“The continued generosity and support from the Caesars Foundation of Floyd County have played a vital role in the success and growth of Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana. We are deeply grateful for their partnership and look forward to further collaboration as we continue to shape a brighter future for the youth of Floyd County.,” said JA President Jennifer Helgeson.

Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana is committed to providing age-appropriate, experiential learning opportunities that begin at the elementary school level and continue through middle and high school and post-high school. Our programs empower students to understand their roles as individuals, future employees, and responsible consumers, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the challenges of the modern economic landscape.
