In a year marked by extraordinary community need, the Community Foundation of Madison and Jefferson County (CFMJC) has awarded over $325,000 in grants to 20 nonprofit organizations through its 2025 Competitive Grant Cycle. Among the recipients is Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana, whose mission to inspire and prepare young people for success is taking root in Madison High School thanks to this vital funding.
“We’re thrilled to bring Junior Achievement programming to Madison High School and begin to build our relationships in Jefferson County, made possible through the generous support of funders like CFMJC,” said Jennifer Helgeson, President of Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana. “It’s inspiring to witness how deeply the community has embraced JA—local volunteers and educators are stepping up to deliver impactful experiences that empower our youth for the future.”
This grant supports hands-on financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and career readiness education—empowering students with the tools they need to thrive beyond graduation. Thanks to the generosity of CFMJC donors and the foundation’s commitment to impactful investment, Madison High School students will gain access to transformative learning experiences that help shape their futures.
Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana is proud to be part of this year’s grant cohort and looks forward to building brighter paths for Jefferson County youth.
