Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana seeks a High School Program Manager who has a passion for transforming students ives through education.

The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring that high school classroom programs are delivered to provide a high-quality experience for all participants. This individual will implement and manage all daily operations of program recruitment, implementation, retention, data management and evaluation with all organization stakeholders, including but not limited to educators and volunteers, while upholding and maintaining the program quality and integrity.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Senior Director of Education and all staff to reach the department goal of 55,000 students.
• Responsible for high school program management and individual volunteer recruitment and relationships in assigned school district(s) and geographic areas.
• Serve as project lead for JA Company program. Handle updates and revisions to the program on a yearly basis.
• Oversees the planning and implementation of high school in-classroom programs and outcomes and assist schools to implement virtual JA programs, teacher-led, or in-person programs, whichever applicable to schools.
• Using the Program Implementation Standards, train, and support program volunteers to deliver JA programs and learning experiences using a variety of delivery models and tools – in-person or virtual. Moderate program classes to ensure programs are delivered by volunteers / teachers with the utmost quality.
• Update and maintain accurate and timely data entry, including all program related information, management, and maintenance of constituent records in BCRM database.
• Oversee logistics of program presentation in a variety of delivery models.
• Assure program quality and integrity through effective teacher and volunteer communication.
• Handle general records and correspondence with volunteers and prospects, file class registration forms, and supervise procurement and delivery of all program materials. Promotes the organization’s brand to existing and prospective donors.
• Assists in program related Board Committees to ensure goal attainment. Prepares materials for Board Committee meetings.
• Strategize and lead recruitment and retention efforts of all program stakeholder groups.
• Provide face-to-face training and orientation for all program stakeholders.
• Create comprehensive annual strategic volunteer plans with partner organizations and identify strategic prospect colleges, companies, community organizations and convert into new volunteer partnerships.
• Adhere to JA Values and demonstrates a willingness to pitch in to help team members succeed (even in areas outside their normal role)
• Support Junior Achievement’s commitment to providing meaningful, powerful, equitable, and consistent learning experiences.

Qualifications (required)

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities; be self-motivated and highly organized.
• Computer knowledge in word processing and spreadsheet documents using MS Office. Ability to adapt to a virtual workspace using collaboration tools (i.e., SharePoint, MS Teams, Google
• Good presentation/tutoring skills. Lesson plan/curriculum knowledge.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization.
• Highly detail oriented.
