Title: Instructional Coordinator
Area: Louisville, KY
Reports to: Director of Experiential Learning
Status: Part-Time, Hourly

Primary Responsibilities:

Program Implementation:
- Work closely with the Director of Experiential Learning to ensure that teachers, students, and volunteers receive a quality experience when attending assigned Experiential Learning Labs.
- Understand and be well-versed in JA BizTown and JA Finance Park information and procedures; Execute best practices for each Experiential Learning Lab.
- Oversee the Experiential Learning Lab simulation-assigned rotation to ensure that all students and volunteers stay on schedule.
- Provide excellent customer service to each school’s students, educators, and their volunteers.
- Ensure proper setup and cleanup of all VR Goggles daily.
- Throughout the simulation, communicate with visiting teachers and volunteers to ensure good customer service. Communicate with the Instructional Manager about any problems that may arise.
- Ensure minimal disruption to the simulation by troubleshooting basic technology issues.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently by properly utilizing walkie-talkies.
- Communicate all successes and challenges with the simulation, educators, students, and volunteers with the Instructional manager as needed.
- Ensure all setup and end-of-day tasks are completed within the allotted time.
- Assist and/or lead Volunteer Training.
-Learn and be proficient in all Experiential Learning Lab rotations and transitions.

Additional Responsibilities
- All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (required)

- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Hours are Monday-Friday from 8-4 pm, based on availability (avg. 15-20 hours per week)
- Proven experience working with school-aged children.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities; be self-motivated and highly organized.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with integrity.
- Ability to work well with others from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly detail-oriented.

Application Process

Part time position, 15 - 20 hours per week through May. Weekday shifts only, morning until mid-late afternoon. No weekend, evening, or summer hours.
