Louisville, KY (March 3, 2026) — For the past 11 years, Chuck has volunteered in 55 JA classes and learning experiences, directly benefiting 2,261 students in classrooms. His impact expanded even further through his participation in JA Inspire, where 2,428 students engaged with career exploration opportunities during the most recent year alone. These numbers represent more than statistics; they reflect thousands of moments where students were inspired to think differently about their futures.
Jennifer Helgeson, President of Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana said, “His steadfast commitment, positive energy, and ability to connect with young people have made him an incredible leader and educator within our programs.”
Beyond the classroom, Chuck also serves as the liaison between Junior Achievement and his company, Cherry Bekaert, where he is a Client Experience (CX) Director. In this role, he has played a vital part in strengthening corporate engagement, expanding volunteer participation, and deepening the partnership between JA and Cherry Bekaert. His advocacy has opened the door for more professionals to step forward and help shape students’ academic and career pathways.
"I'm honored by this recognition," says Summers, "but honestly, I keep coming back to JA because of the kids. I can't get enough of seeing those little 'aha' moments when they grasp using money wisely, understanding needs vs wants, or how to put their best foot forward for the future."
Chuck’s dedication, both as a volunteer and a corporate ambassador, has strengthened community relationships and elevated the overall student experience. His service exemplifies the spirit of Junior Achievement and what it truly means to be a champion for the youth.
